Penny Sisto Quilt Show Opening Reception

MAC is thrilled to present “The Spirit of Women”, a quilt exhibition by Penny Sisto.  An immigrant from Scotland, Penny’s quilts honor women. Over twenty works portray women of different heritage emphasizing their individual beauty and gifts. Each woman looks out with strength and kindness. Quilts are free form using a variety of techniques to combine stitches, fabric, and painting. Viewers will fall in love with these incredible women.

Paynter, Popky & Weathers

7-8pm | BYOB

A trio of local musicians, they have forged a singular brand of acoustic roots music. You may recognize Will Paynter and Jay Popky as the two founding members of Sonoma Sound, who have twice played at MAC’s 2nd Saturday.  They have since joined forces with seasoned songwriter and performer Stacy Weathers. Both Jay and Stacy are well known to the Philadelphia Folksong Society as well as the Folk Festival. The three of them are nearly finished recording their new trio CD “Three x Three”, a CD that features 3 originals songs by the three songwriters. Please join us for an evening of compelling original roots music. There will be beer from Sterling Pig, and feel free to bring your own!
