Widener University and the Media Arts Council present the State Street Reading Series – a recurring literary event at the Media Arts Center featuring writers reading their work live to community members.

Michael Cocchiarale is Associate Professor of English at Widener University. He is the author of Still Time, a collection of twenty-five short and shorter stories exploring tensions that arise in a variety of contemporary relationships.
 Asali Solomon is Assistant Professor of English at Haverford College. She is the author of Disgruntled, a novel set in Philadelphia that Steph Cha of the Los Angeles Times calls a “smart, philosophical, coming-of-age tale.”
