Interested in entering art shows . Wondering if an art piece on a large canvas no frame can be accepted. I know this is over , but any guidance is appreciated.

      Hi Michele,

It would depend on the show, but many art shows accept unframed canvases as long as the canvas is on a stretcher and is ready to hang. For our painting show we had a mix of framed and unframed pieces accepted. If a show requires work to be framed it should be stated in the entry rules. Hope this helps and you consider entering our next juried exhibit! Good luck!
