Photographing is a part of my being. the way your arm is a part of your body. Even at times without my camera, I see and frame a photo in my mind.
In art school, I learned a technique called gum bichromate. I liked it, and a few years later, was paid to create a few greeting cards using the technique. But after that, I let it slip from my life...until 2000. I suddenly felt I wanted to try it again. And it took a few unexpected results to keep me exploring. But it is a process that suits my soul--both the creation of the prints, and the finished pieces. They are soft, washy, vintage, atmospheric.
