Time: 6-8pm
The principle focus of this course will be ring and rope magic. This will cover both the mechanics of the magic but also important elements of presentation. Card magic will also be included covering elements of basic card handling to magical effects. This course will not require special props – most items are readily available. A deck of cards will be needed. As an aid to instruction and review, video taping is not only permitted but encouraged. The creation of narratives for performance will also be covered.

Media Youth Film Initiative. Learn to write, produce, direct, shoot, act in and edit digital video project. Students will produce their own digital video, which can range from documentary, drama to comedy. At the end of the class, they will share their work with fellow students, parents and friends and at the Media Film Festival in 2016.
