I graduated from Maryland Institute of Art in 1969, moved to Philadelphia and worked as a free lance fashion illustrator for several years. My clients included Lit Brothers, Wanamakers, The Blum Store and Strawbridge and Clothier. With the advent of newspaper photographic technology, fashion illustration became a lost art. I then took classes in metalsmithing and jewelry making. Gradually I began to develop a style of jewelry that reflected my artistic philosophies and personality. For over 20 years at my home studio I worked as a small wholesale craft jeweler, and my work can be found in galleries and craft establishments across the United States.
After years of working in various art mediums and techniques, I try to use all of them. Mirrors and masks are my latest endeavor. In this time of Pandemic and political chaos, I look into a mirror, and I see a mask.
