light, line, texture, color and mood to show the beauty and wonder in our world

Patricia Danzon

Artist Statement

The camera offers an opportunity to see the world through new and creative lenses. I seek to capture the beauty and essence of any scene … and the possibilities are everywhere. I am particularly drawn to nature, landscapes and cityscapes, realism and abstraction. My style and subjects are eclectic. The common theme is use of light, line, texture, color and mood to show the beauty and wonder in our world.

My early photography training was in traditional black and white film and darkroom printing at the University of the Arts, Delaware Community College, Wallingford and Main Line Arts Centers. I have switched to digital capture and printing, to take full advantage of the continued development of these technologies. I continue to take photography workshops with leading professional photographers, to develop new skills and vision, and visit new locations.

As a juried artist member of the Media Arts Council Gallery Artists, my work is exhibited regularly at the MAC Gallery.  I am also a member the Haverford Guild of Craftsmen. I have exhibited in many juried fine arts shows in the Delaware Valley and southern New Jersey.

I print my own images using archival papers and inks, and use high quality labs to print on metal and canvas. All images can be custom printed in different sizes and mediums, framed or unframed.
