The 15th Annual Media Arts Council Juried Photography Exhibition (PhotoEx) is open to amateur and professional photographers nationwide.
2021 Theme: “Balance”
What does the concept of “Balance” mean to you? Use your own unique interpretation in your photographic submissions. The juror will consider good composition and photographic technique, as well as interesting, unusual subject matter, and interpretation of the theme.
All entries must be received by 11:59 pm on Saturday August 21, 2021, through the online Entry Form below.

All accepted works will be included in the exclusively Online PhotoEx 2021 Exhibit, which will run through Saturday, November 13, 2021.
The Online Opening Reception will be held via Zoom on Saturday October 9, 2021. (Unless otherwise notified.)
Awards will be announced during the Online Opening Reception. Checks will be sent via postal mail afterwards.
Juror: Owen Biddle
Owen was born and educated outside of Philadelphia, and grew up in a household where color, art and design were intrinsically important. As a young man he worked in the audio-visual department at Elwyn Institute, taking pictures of students’ lives. It was there that he discovered what would become his lifelong passion for photography. Since 1983 Owen has been a photography instructor at a number of locations including Main Line Center for the Arts and Main Line School Night. For the last ten years he has provided photography lessons, field trips and workshops through his own small photography school in Lansdowne, PA. https://www.biddlephotoschool.com
