Media Arts Council and Gallery invites Delaware County artists to submit works for a juried exhibition. The Media Arts Council welcomes all professional artists to submit images of 2-dimensional original artwork relating to their interpretation of the theme, “Shape of Hope.” The exhibition will be on view in the office of The Foundation for Delaware County in Media, PA.
The Foundation for Delaware County and the Media Arts Council (MAC) invite you to join us virtually on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. for the opening of The Shape of Hope, a juried art show in honor of Delco Arts Week.

Please do not ship your work until you speak with a gallery representative. Email email@example.com or call 484-445-4161. A computer generated return label for return of work MUST be enclosed. NO EXCEPTION.
ENTRY FEES: There is a $35.00 entry fee for one to three artworks entered, presentation is by JPG image files. There is a $5.00 fee for each additional artwork. Limit of five artworks permitted. Please submit images in jpeg format at 300dpi with no side exceeding 1900 pix. Online registration only (see below). Payments by credit card at time of entry. Entry fee is non-refundable.
ELIGIBILITY AND RESTRICTIONS: The competition is open to all Delaware County artists. . . . All work must be original, completely finished, wired, and ready to hang. Maximum size for pieces is 36” high x 30” wide. Please label the back of each piece with your name and the title of the work. Failure to follow instructions may result in the nullification of your entry.
Accepted works will remain on exhibit for one year. Artwork accepted into our previous juried exhibits cannot be resubmitted.
SALES/COMMISSION: Media Arts Council takes 40% of sales
LIABILITY: While every effort to properly care for work is made, neither the Media Arts Council nor the Foundation for Delaware County are responsible for the loss or damage of work while in transit or during the exhibition. Artists should provide their own insurance coverage. Submission into the exhibition indicates acceptance of these conditions. A Hold Harmless Agreement will be signed upon delivery of your work.

NOTIFICATION: Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance no later than September 12 via email address submitted at time of entry.
File Naming Conventions
Please submit one digital image for each piece of artwork. Files should each be named as follows:
Label Each Image File: “First Name – Last_Name – Title – HeightxWidth – Meduim – Price”
Example: “John – Doe – Landscape in Rome – 25hx36w -acrylic – 500.jpg”
Files which are mislabeled or lack the artist’s name will not be viewed by the juror.
No POR (price on request) sales. Work not for sale must be marked NFS in the price section of the submission form.
