Do you want to make a movie but have low budget or no budget? Local filmmakers Sandra Wade and Oliver Assiran will show you how. You'll get tips on everything from crowdfunding to credit cards! With lots of fun stories about our personal experiences shooting features, music videos, and shorts.

About Sandra Wade:

Sandra Wade is an actor, writer and filmmaker who co-wrote, co-produced and starred in “Choices”, a short film made for less than $1000 that was selected by over a dozen film festivals and won awards for Best Produced Independent Short and Best Comedy Short (Actor/Actress) at the Philadelphia World Film Festival and Italy’s Reale Monthly Festival.

Her one-act play “Skeptics” premiered at the Offpage Play Festival in November 2022. 

The short script she wrote for "Mail Order Bride" has won and placed in various competitions, and the film she co-produced for approximately $5000 premiered at the Culver City Film Festival and screens at the Media Film Festival on April 5, 2024.
