The MAC Arts Center is the perfect place to make events that people will remember
Are you planning a retirement party? Corporate retreat? Industry gathering or other professional meetup? A small wedding? A team building or strategic planning session? Located in the heart of Media’s commercial corridor, The MAC Arts Center awaits you and your guests in this newly renovated multi-use space.
The State Street Room, approximately 360 square feet, is accessible from State Street and opens to MAC’s stunning tile floor mosaic that was designed and installed by local artists. The room can accommodate 40 seats and up to 60 people.
The Jasper Street Room, at 595 sq ft, can accommodate 50 seats and 60 people, and has a separate ADA-accessible entrance and is conveniently adjacent to the Jasper Street Municipal Parking Lot. The Jasper Street Room is equipped with a pull-down screen, projector, and a DVD/Blu-Ray/USB Stick player, which connects to a Soundbar for audio. The room also includes a restored 1910 Knabe upright piano.
You may opt to make use of the entire MAC Arts Center (955 sq ft) or either of the two rooms.
Additionally, MAC now has a 1-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and bathroom. This can be used for overnight guests, cooking for events, a bridal suite for weddings, and more.
Are you looking for a unique artistic component for your event? MAC can supply live music for parties and weddings and also has relationships with groups that can provide unique musical and improv comedy team-building add-ons to your corporate retreat or strategic planning session. General Information
The bathroom is ADA accessible.
There is a large commercial refrigerator and utility sink. (No freezer, no stove, no microwave).
Rentals include access to 10 2’x2’ cafe tables and 50 matching folding chairs.
The piano is available for use and kept in very good playable condition. It can also be tuned directly prior to your rental for an additional fee.
The art on the walls changes regularly at MAC and it will be different from what is pictured here.
MAC has two portable amplifier and speaker systems and 3 wired microphones, mic stands, and music stands. These are available as well as a sound engineer for basic sound for an extra fee.
There is a two-car parking pad at the rear of the Arts Center for easy loading and unloading.
MAC has a 21” iMac that can connect to the projector or either of the sound systems.
