Description:

In this Linocut Postcard Workshop students will make their own handmade postcards using relief printing with linoleum blocks. Printmaker Ryan Numair will guide you through the process of creating your very own prints from start to finish. Use your own ideas or create from suggested designs. Turn your prints into postcards that you can send while on Summer Vacation! This workshop focuses on DIY or Do It Yourself techniques printing by hand. It is designed for beginners with no experience or artists looking to explore a new medium.

What students should bring to class:

Pencils
Sketchbook or sketchpaper
Sharpie Markers

Class Cancellation Policy

Student Cancellations:

For Multi-Week Classes
Class registration cancelled two weeks or more before the start date of the class will be fully refunded, minus a 20% administration fee. Class registrations cancelled between 7-14 days before the class will receive a MAC gift card worth the amount of the class, minus a 20% administration fee. There will be no refunds or credits of any kind for withdrawals less than 7 days prior to a class.

For One-Time Workshops
Withdrawals from a workshop more than 7 days prior to the start of a workshop will receive a full refund, minus a 20% administration fee. Withdrawals 7 to 4 days prior to the start date of a workshop will receive a MAC gift card worth the amount of the course, minus a 20% administration fee. There will be no refunds or credits of any kind for withdrawals 3 days prior and up to the day of a workshop. MAC gift cards are valid for one year from the issue date.

MAC Cancellations

MAC reserves the right to cancel or postpone any program or activity due to insufficient enrollment, faculty availability, or any other unforeseen circumstance. If MAC cancels a class or workshop, tuition payment will be refunded in full to the student.
