TriYoga

TriYoga Flows: TriYoga Flows is a complete hatha yoga method. In TriYoga Flows, breath and  focus are united with flowing and sustained postures in systematized sequences.  Since the method is systematic, students can progress from Basics to Level 1 and  then to subsequent levels as they increase their flexibility, strength, endurance and  knowledge. Through sustained awareness on all aspects of the practice, the inner  flow naturally emerges. This trinity practice is by the nature of its origin, deeply  meditative and transformative. These levels are also offered in a workshop setting.

Basics: For those new to TriYoga or those who want a gentle, slow-paced class. Basics is a complete practice of 108 postures presented systematically, learned over  time and is the foundation for TriYoga Flows. Introduced are core alignments,  wavelike spinal movements and the principles of flow. This series benefits  everyone, beginners to advanced, as students refine core alignments, build strength  and flexibility in all areas, and develop breath awareness. Bolsters, pillows and  props can be used to ensure comfort and alignment.

Instructor Christopher Paynter has been practicing yoga for over twenty years. His first  teacher, Kashi Ananda, a Senior TriYoga instructor, became his friend and mentor.  Through continued classes and private instruction, Christopher made the natural  progression to teaching. He is in the TriYoga Teacher Intern Program. While his  own practice is at the advanced level, for the past ten years his teaching focuses  primarily on basics, incorporating breathing, awareness and correct alignment. His  classes allow the students to move at their own pace by demonstrating more  advanced modifications if their skill level allows.

His primary focus is TriYoga/Basics, highlighting the physical benefits as well as  inner balance, relaxation and stillness of mind. As Christopher would say, "A good  yoga practice should be both a workout, and a work IN."

Class will be at 9:00 am and 11:00 am, with each class lasting 90 minutes. Please bring your own mat.

Single class is $20.00

5 class package for $90.00 - that's $18 per class.

10 class package for $150.00 - that's $15.00 per class
