Ebenezer Ali, also known as Eben, is an artist from Accra, Ghana in West Africa. He graduated as a visual art student and specialized in the theoretical aspect of art. He then continued by learning fine art and designing, through apprenticeship, for 3 years.
Eben has a passion for painting life scenes, faces, and the spirit of Ghana. Life in Ghana is varied. There are everyday moments of mothers selling in local street markets with babies on their backs and products adorning their heads, breathtaking landscapes, professional life, high value of education, family, kings, queens and royalty that tell a story of this vast land.
Through the eyes of Eben, we will celebrate, and lift up, some aspects of Ghana’s way of life, much of which overlaps with our own. And with this small glimpse into this beautiful West African country, perhaps you will be moved to learn more about the richness of its history, land and people.
