Join us from 5 to 7 pm on August 5th for the Opening of Leslie Hubbard’s Art Show Into the Wild Fine Arts
Leslie Hubbard is a lifelong animal enthusiast. She spent 25 years working in education at Zoos and Aquariums. A largely self-taught artist, Leslie works mostly in acrylics and until recently shared her studio with a Moluccan cockatoo named Picasso. She loves the personality that animals project through their faces and has an affinity for the not so popular animals that live quiet lives. She is interested in the intersection between animals and humans, either in their perception of each other or in their relationships.
Leslie lives in Wilmington, Delaware and, until now, sells privately. She has a variety of portrait commissions in private collections in the Wilmington area. Leslie runs a local park foundation and spends her free time painting, throwing pottery and knitting.
