The professional playwriting series continues with Shelli Pentimall’s Ashes
Dean Randolf is on death row for murdering young boys. He cannot be the one killing them now, but does he know who it is? The only way he’ll share information with the police is through conditions involving his ex-wife and daughter. Jill refuses to let April see who her father is, and learn what traits they might share, no matter what the consequence, but April may already be showing signs with her long disappearances, obsession with the Holocaust, her new interest to learn Krav Maga. A play questioning nature versus nurture when the nature is unnatural, and the truth might only be found once the smoke clears.
