About the Featured Poet:
As the seasons begin to turn--or as we start to think ahead to the first whispers of spring--let's collectively examine the intersections of poetry and prose. This session will focus on the transitional form: the prose poem. What strengths does this form borrow from poetry, from prose? Writers with both/either poetry and prose experience are welcome to join us.
Liz recently published “Museum of Things” by Finishing Line Press. A review of the book states: “In her museum, Liz Chang shows that even the mundane things of everyday life contain stories, and when Chang brings all those stories together, they pose questions, stir memories, upend beliefs, and finally, contribute to an ongoing story which is a life. Chang’s language is rich, metaphorical, lyrical, and brings us closer to understanding the complexity of the human condition.” –Grant Clauser
